Life brings surprising twists and turns and I discovered my little bio was in much need of an update. I am again single with a very important person in my life now for 4 years, John Broom. We have a condo in Tampa Florida and neither of us has been successful with saying "I do" so we will probably not! John drags me to the gym kicking and screaming about 5 nights a week! I am a lifetime Weight Watcher as a result of losing 47 lbs. about 6 years ago. I just love to cook and eat and gained a lot of weight while caring for my Mother ill with bone cancer. For the last 4 years I have been working for Verizon Data Services (contractor) doing administrative work. I have 2 daughters that have blessed me with 5 wonderful grandsons ranging in age from 5 to 18. My daughter, Cathy, has been the Administrative Assistant for the Sheriff of Glynn County in Brunswick, GA for more years than I can remember and Rhea is doing very well with Florida Blood Services here in the Tampa Area.



A few years ago I started painting again and most of my spare time is spent taking art classes/workshops. I was very pleased to win a few ribbons last year exhibiting at the State Fair and Strawberry Festival locally. I am looking forward to retirement so I can devote more time to my art and doing some volunteer work, learning again to play my guitar - maybe time for some pottery lessons - isn't that what retirement is about?years ago I started painting again and most of my spare time is spent taking art classes/workshops.
