Dear All, Thank you so much for your cards and your phone calls. Don't
count me out yet! I"m finally home and still getting the iv's of antibiotic
daily plus pt. Actually I did not get the full knee, that would have been
at least 6-9 month recoupe. If this works and the infection stays clean
(no staph) I"ll be up and around by Sept. 11th. Keep your fingers
crossed. How I got this I don't know but if there were 5 squares on the
floor and the bottom dropped out of one, and they asked five of us to pick
a hole guess who would get the one that opens up. It's uncanny. There must
be something in my phychy that says pick her.
Anyway aside from the reunion on Sept. 5, 2009 I will be married 50 Years to Richard and where the time went who knows. The kids had given me a trip across country in October by train to our son Michael's house outside of Tucson . That's been cancelled until April 2010.Michael is Vice-President of Miravalle in Arizona. He has a partner John who is in banking. Sharron, the only girl lives in East Greenbush, NY , she is a stay at home mom. She is married to Glen who is a Lt.Col. in the US Army. They have 3 children Joseph age 13, Jesica age 12 and Nicolas age 10. Joseph and Jesi were adopted from Guatamala and Nicky was an after thought after 20 years of marriage. Danny the oldest boy is with the Columbia County Sheriff's Dept, On the Copake,NY town board and has his own business. He"s married to Darlene who is in the insurance Dept. of Fairview Hosp. in Great Barrington, Mass. Their only daughter Lauren is attending Wellsley College in Boston, she's 23 engaged to James who is attending Northeastern to becomea therapist in sports medicine. Lauren works at the Lenox Hotel as desk clerk in downtown Boston. Their son Chase attended Paul Smith for a year. HE is not going back this semester, he wants to find himself, most of us know how that is! Ric is the youngest and a nurse, his wife Phyllis is also a nurse, they have one son LJ age 15 and are in the process of selling their small farm upstate and moving outside of Richmond , Va. As you can read they are all doing well and Dick and I are very proud of each and everyone of them. If I make it watch out for Betty Benjamin(Mahon) and myself you'rein for a treat. I haven't lost my sense of humor. Love to all Murph
