Sal Corano

My wife Val and I have been married almost 28 years. We moved back to New York State in late 1996 after living in Connecticut for ]2 years.

We are both retired but are keeping busy with our new home at Heritage Hills in Somers.

Last July I purchased a "classic" car, a 1969 VW Type III and am currently doing some basic restoration work on it. I have also renewed my involvement with a Peekskill Fire Company, which I joined in the early 60's, Colombian Engine Company #1. I am currently acting as the Company Historian.

Val and I also enjoy traveling and have been to Las Vegas, Alaska and The Panama Canal. A cruise to Canada/New England is planned for this September.

Last but not least, we very much enjoy spending time with our families, especially our granddaughter, Samantha Puff who will be 2 years old in July.
